Abilities that recharge on a short rest

 In order to ensure fairness to classes with abilities that recharge on a short rest, the recharge should be changed to “Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you roll initiative at the start of combat or until you finish a short or long rest.”

Vicious Mockery fix

 . . . have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its attack rolls until the beginning of your next turn.

This fix would enable Vicious Mockery to scale well.
